The Head of Music works closely with the organist from All Saints Church to plan music for the year. They hold regular meetings to discuss song choices and upcoming services. Altwood has proudly collaborated with the church choir for special events such as the VE Day service and Harvest Festival. Our annual Carol Service is held at All Saints Church bringing the school community together for a special start to the festive break. Rev. Jo organises the Christmas lunch, which the music department support as part of our wider engagement with the church community. Miss Rankine is also developing opportunities for students to engage with the church organ, including plans for an organ demonstration, a lunchtime concert, and an Altwood concert.
