Mr Benians took a group of students to compete against the best of the local area, at the UKMT Team Maths Challenge Regional Finals. Orla was successful in her attempt to represent Altwood/Berkshire in the English Schools Cross Country Championships, which took place 2 weeks ago in Liverpool. Despite having a stitch, she finished 137 out of 350. Orla we are very proud of you. https://t.co/Y9N3Oe3CU4

A group of Y9 students attended an inspiring event at IRIS Software to celebrate International Women's Day. They developed their knowledge on STEM careers, participated in the 'Future Founders Lab' activity & learnt about the importance of encouraging women to pursue Tech careers https://t.co/2sxrdlBENm
A selected group of students attended a Norden Farm Family Action event, where they had the opportunity to meet & build new friendships with peers from Altwood, & other schools. They created a stop-motion storyboard, which proved to be an enjoyable and engaging activity. https://t.co/zgAoLtGj6l

On Friday 13th March, Parliament will be hosting a ‘lounge wear’ non-school uniform day. Students will be expected to make a £2 donation if they wish to participate. As it is a ‘lounge wear’ theme, students are permitted to wear pyjamas. However, these must be appropriate. https://t.co/BLHd13tyGB
