Altwood Church of England School warmly congratulates all of its Year 11 students for their achievements in the GCSE examinations this summer.

 

An extremely pleasing 72% of students gained 5 or more A* to C grade passes, with 54% gaining 5 or more A* to C grades including English and Mathematics. There were some exceptional performances with a number of students gaining all A* and A grades and also a considerable number of students exceeding their target grades. This, following on the from excellent 100% pass rate at A level last week, means there is a great deal being celebrated at Altwood Church of England School this summer.

 

Well done to students and staff who worked so hard together to achieve this success. The school community is very proud of all our senior young men and women.
